Europe end the USA run of holes with a half out of the sand on 12 - and it's almost a win as Linn Grant hits a cracker out of the bunker and almost holes it.
She's got form as she canned one yesterday from out of the sand. Anyway, more importantly the Swedes are not letting that American momentum build.
Lottie Woad follows the American ball into the centre of the ninth green. Both are around 25 feet from the hole, which will suit the visitors more than the hosts given the match score.
Charley Hull first to putt. Good pace. Good line. Drifts right at the end.
Alison Lee will have been watching that closely. What has she learned? She picked up the line, but not the pace. Hole halved.
Another great iron shot from Auston Kim sets up the win for the USA as they hit the turn just one back with the European rookie duo making a bogey on the ninth after finding a bunker.
Mimi Rhodes and Nastasia Nadaud are still playing pretty well in what's a high quality contest - that was in fact the first bogey either pair have made today.
Hello! All of a sudden this big lead in the top match doesn't look so big as Nelly Korda lands a long putt on the 11th to make it back-to-back wins for the USA to cut that four-hole lead in half.
That's why this USA pair are unbeaten and although Maja Stark and Linn Grant still lead by two there must be some nerves building knowing exactly what their opponents can do.
Still, if they stay calm they'll remember the Americans have made two birdies, they've not given holes away, and they still lead by two with seven to play. It's nowhere near as comfortable as it was just a couple of holes ago though.
Charley Hull plays a delightful wedge out of the sand on the eighth to leave Lottie Woad with a five-footer for birdie.
Alison Lee is also accurate with her chip from short of the green and Lauren Coughlin will putt first from about seven feet.
Coughlin drains the putt. This now becomes must make for Woad to halt a run of four hole losses on the trot.
A rare poor shot from Linn Grant with a wedge in hand and that leaves the door open for the USA to pull a hole back.
The Swedes still don't make a bogey, getting their par, but a birdie wins it for the USA, could the fightback be on?
We're not seeing much of this match. But they are on the ninth green.
Jen Kupcho is standing over an eight-footer for par. A bend of the knees doesn't help the ball turn and drop into the hole.
That leaves Esther Henseleit with a short one to claw a hole back for the Europeans. Wow. Pushed it. A missed putt from three feet. Yikes.
Auston Kim lips out on a long-range putt on the eighth and that leaves Mimi Rhodes the simple task of knocking in a short one to double Europe's lead in this match.
With the USA well up in two matches and Europe well ahead in another this one was the only match with just a one-hole lead. And it looks crucial to Anna Nordqvist's side in this session.
On to the par-four eighth and a bit of a wait on the tee for the green to clear. Will that help the European pair?
Lauren Coughlin up first and she drills her shot short of the putting surface.
Lottie Woad lets rip but her ball bounds into a greenside bunker.
Alison Lee and Lauren Coughlin are playing some excellent golf this morning and they are in close again for a birdie try on the par-four seventh.
Lottie Woad's second into the green is superb for distance, 15 feet right of the hole though. And Charley Hull races the birdie try long.
Alison Lee from half that distance. Boom. Four up. Wow.
Uh oh! Nelly Korda sees a short putt on the ninth horseshoe around the cup and stay up meaning they lose yet another hole and hit the turn four down.
Just a reminder that Korda and Allisen Corpuz have a perfect 5-0 record and although they've been behind in four of those matches they've never been more than two down at any stage.
But this Swedish pairing have being playing some stellar foursomes golf, they really have, as they've not made one single bogey yet in 27 holes together at this Solheim Cup and they're nine under in this alternate shot format that's usually so difficult.
And for the second day running Maja Stark and Linn Grant reach the turn four up in their match - they've been absolutely sensational so far.
Wonderful chip by Esther Henseleit ensures a par for Europe on the eighth.
Jen Kupcho has a chance to put her side 3UP. But her 15-footer does not trouble the hole. And the European pair are not conceding that. Both Henseleit and Leona Maguire stand, arms folded, stony faced.
The par-four eighth is only playing 255 yards today. It's easily in reach but bunkers guard the front and there is rough down the left.
Jen Kupcho is left of the hole but stays on the short stuff.
Esther Henseleit finds a bunker. And Leona Maguire airmails the green from the bunker. Huge mistake.
Rose Zhang doesn't take full advantage though, her chip mooching a good 15 feet long. A chance for Europe to escape with a half.
Auston Kim has really stepped up since hitting it in the water earlier, draining that monster putt to halve a hole earlier and now firing in a dart of an iron shot on seven.
But how about the response from Mimi Rhodes under all the pressure she fires another beauty in there - not as close as the Americans but if Nastasia Nadaud can pop that in then you never know what can happen.
Charley Hull is in the drop zone on the sixth. She still has an expanse of water to cross but realistically needs to hole this to avoid going three down.
It's a decent stab. The ball pitches a foot or so from the hole but hops three yards on before putting on the brakes.
The US have two putts from eight feet. Actually, scratch that. Hole conceded. Work to do for the English pair.
Leona Maguire clips a wonderful chip from just off the seventh green as the Europeans scramble a half in match two to stay two down.
Lauren Coughlin has the tee shot on the par-three sixth and she hits a pin-seeker, the ball landing on the green and rolling out to about eight feet.
Lottie Woad needs to follow that in because the US pair have a bit of momentum here. Oh no! Woad's ball is wet.
The ball lands on the fringe of the green but tumbles backwards, almost in slow motion.
More Maja Stark magic on the eight as she plays an unbelievable chip from well short of the eighth green in the rough just outside a bunker.
She plays the perfect chunk and run and the ball tracks and tracks along the putting surface and drops into the cup.
The crowd go nuts, and Stark does a bit too as she bounces around the green celebrating an eagle two on this short par four.
The Americans are gutted as they stood on the green in one and looked in charge of the hole but when the eagle putt misses they're not three down. That could be huge.
It will be a putting contest on the par-five fifth after Charley Hull and Alison Lee both clip wedges into similar distances.
Lottie Woad will be first to try for a birdie and first to play can be an advantage. Hole the putt and your opponent's suddenly looks a foot or two longer. Although miss it and the reverse is true.
This morning is following a similar pattern to day one, with Europe making the faster start - they have not trailed any of the 12 matches after three holes - but the US fighting back through the middle holes of the round.
